PLANNING
We learn about you and your vision. The planning stage sets the goals, visions and milestones of the project. Paragon works directly with you to define scope, budget, schedule and will ensure that proper due diligence is completed. DESIGN
We advance your vision and create your project. Paragon streamlines the design process. Working directly with design professionals, including architects, engineers and consultants, we manage the process and serve as your advocate. We are engaged throughout each phase of design to ensure that your vision is accurately represented and documented.
  • Manage design coordination with the architect, engineers and all tiered consultants
  • Perform quality control checks and review all documents and drawings
  • Update and maintain project schedules
  • Evaluate designs against the project budget to ensure compliance
  • Ensure that all owner review comments are addressed and incorporated
PROCUREMENT
We organize your project and define its path. Paragon leads the procurement process creating an organized roadmap for the project. We seek out contractors, specialty trades and vendors that best fit your project. We will develop bid packages and carefully review each bidder to assist you in selecting the most qualified construction team.
  • Develop a Request for Proposal (RFP) that clearly defines the project scope, budget and schedule
  • Prescreen and identify qualified contractors and specialty subcontractors to bid on the project
  • Review bids in detail, going line-by-line, to verify adequate scope coverage and to ensure apples-to-apples comparisons.
  • Assist in selecting a highly qualified team to execute the work
  • Provide support in contract negotiations and finalizing contract documents
  • We assist the Owner in the lending process, communicate with the Owner’s financial institution, and coordinate the deliverables.
CONSTRUCTION
We execute your project and fullfill your vision. The construction phase requires active and meaningful participation to keep the project budget and schedule on track. Our goal is to effectively communicate with our clients and the construction team to always mange expectations and deliver a project that is on-time and on-budget. Paragon stays engaged throughout the project from ground breaking to closeout and facilitate the transition into your new facility.
  • Proactively address any issues to reduce unnecessary delays and added cost
  • Provide consistent and constant communication on project status
  • Report construction milestones, along with any corresponding budget and schedule changes
  • Participate in Owner Architect Contractor (OAC) meetings
  • Track Requests for Information (RFIs) between the design and construction team
  • Coordinate with authorities having jurisdiction, including utilities and project stakeholders
  • Review all change orders for accuracy, submit recommendations for alternatives and collaborate with the contractor to control costs
  • Coordinate final inspection with owner and project team
  • Finalize the submittal of any guarantees, warranties, releases, bonds and waivers
